How to Change Unlock Mode from Safety Switch + Stick Arm to Channel 7 Switch on Transmitter

1. Disable External Safety Switch

Complete the settings in the flight controller ground station following the steps below:

① Connect the flight controller to the ground station successfully.

② Select Configuration/Tuning.

③ Open Full Parameter List.

④ Search for BRD in the search bar on the right.

⑤ Change the value of BRD_SAFETYENABLE from 1 to 0.

⑥ Click Write Parameters to Flight Controller.

2. Replace Stick Arm with Transmitter Switch Arm

(1) Ground Station Configuration

① Establish connection between the flight controller and ground station.

② Go to Configuration/Tuning.

③ Select Extended Parameters.

④ Set Channel 7 Option or Channel 8 Option to ArmDisarm.

⑤ Click Write Parameters at the bottom to save changes.

(2) Transmitter Configuration

Enter the basic menu and select Auxiliary Channel. Choose Channel 7 or Channel 8 as configured above, then assign a two-position switch (SWA/SWB) as the control switch.

The safety switch setup is now finished. Test arming and disarming with the switch to verify the configuration.
